Annihilation
Time S/t CD (Deadalive)
- Fast, yet mind numbingly destructive hardcore punk. Following in the footsteps
of Bl'ast and Black Flag comes Oxnard's Annihilation Time. Mixing the speed
and viciousness of the very best hardcore with the decimating heaviness
of Black Sabbath, Annihilation Time crank out eight tightly wound and aggressive
tracks. True to form, the artwork on this release was penned by none other
than the legendary and always controversial Raymond Pettibon who has drawn
cover art for everyone from Black Flag and the Minutemen to Sonic Youth
and the Foo Fighters.
Anoyorosi "Behind shadow" MCD (???)
- More Japanese madness. Throat-killing vocals, punk-as-fukk drumming, nifty
guitar solos, sing-a-longs. Cool hardcorepunk. Comes in 7" sleeve.
Agent Orange/Jesus & The Gospelfuckers CD (Kangaroo)
- Without doubt J&TGF's were Amsterdam's most infamous and obscure band.
They started out in 1980 as a Pistols influenced punk band, not long after
that they discovered the mighty Discharge. The Discharge influence is definitely
there, but with a style all of their own, great raw musicianship and gliding
guitarsolos. The band was very infamous, because somehow they always managed
to get into fights. Because of all the controversy and violence, they changed
their name later into Genocide Express, who have 3 songs on Pushead's classic
compilation lp "Cleanse the bacteria". Not long after that, most
band members started Agent Orange, who released 2 x 7"s. This complete
discography inludes the demo, both AO 7"s, Genocide Express comp songs, and
unreleased tracks. 23 songs total. Booklet with lots of photos and biography.
Enjoy some of hollands best punk/hardcore from the early 80's.
Armagedom "Silencio funebre" CD (Speedstate)
- The official Japanese re-issue of the legendary Armagedom album, originally
released on 1986 and only pressed in Brazil. Definitely one of most killer
thrash hardcore LPs ever and a huge influence for all worldwide crust, anarcho,
political and d-beat oriented bands who came up after them. Now you can
throw away that dust dubbed tape and finally listen to a genuine copy of
it, with lyrics/translations and original artwork.
Amebix "Make Some Fucking Noise" CD (Arson)
- A favorite of tape bootleggers for years, this 1986 live recording from
Lubjiana, Slovenia captures the pioneers of "crust" at their peak.
This new officially released version has all eight tracks (from the "Arise"
and "Monolith" LP's), plus lyrics and retrospective rant from
the Baron himself. Another essential document of anarcho-punk history.

death metal, not as much melodic stuff as the one above. Recommended for
all ya'll metal freaks out there.
HHH

Hellnation "Thrash wave" CD (Läjä)
- Veteran thrash folks from the USA. Been around for ever and still they
can't get enough of fast, brutal power violent thrashcore. This is a Brazilian
press of their recent collection of out-of-print stuff: 1 x 7"s, 1
x 5", 2 x split7"s + comp songs = Total of 36 points.
Hellnation "Fucked up mess"
CD (Läjä)

Gluecifer, Danco Jones etc etc. Killer hooks and nasty riffs, this baby
rocks AND rolls!
Hoist A Few "No Serious Shit" CD (Finn)
- I wish this short-lived, mid-90's Swedish band had released some more.
This CD is a criminally overlooked album!!! Semi-fast, chaos hardcore
played by spiky drunk punx who sing about drinking, booze, beer and getting
drunk. I fakking love 'em! "Six Down, Six To Go" is a "Six
Pack" for the 90's, a bona fide classic if there ever was one!
Herodishonest "Pleasure/Disgust" CD (If Society)
- New Finnish hardcore band w/their own sound. A bit of NYHC but without
the thug mentality. Mix it w/some cool punkrock vibes and political lyrics
and you got Herodishonest.
Insula "A blood red sky" MCD (No Tolerance)
- This is the debut record from the band formerly known as Within Reach.
The fast old-school hardcore is no more, this is super heavy metallic
doomcore. Think Breach and a less epic Neurosis. Vocals are handled by
none other than Johan from long-running Swedish metalcore heroes Nine.
Wicked.
Iron Cross "Crucified for our sins" CD (LF)
- The early 80's DC band that will never be remembered for their high
IQ
This is a live CD w/studio quality sound. Maybe a bit too much
street punk for me, but the hardcore stuff is solid. Mostly remembered
for writing "Crucified", a standard cover at every Agnostic
Front gig.
Indigesti "Osservati dall´inganno" CD (Vacation
House)
- Where to begin? I can't believe this masterpiece was recorded 20 years
ago! It sounds so fukking fresh and ripping! This Italian mob is fukking
fast, furious and well-played old-school hardcore. Like a faster, meaner
Bad Brains without the reggae songs. Recommended as hell.
Ire "What Seed, What Root?" CD (Crimethinc/Scorched Earth
Policy)

Burning Kitchen, Skeletor, Zombified, Meanwhile etc etc etc. Solid pankfakkingrawk
w/female vocals. Cool as hell! Price: Same as a 7".
Infect / Wrecker splitCD (KU4A$)
- Awesome all-female, Brazil vs. USA split. Wrecker are slow, groovy and
sludgy, kinda like the old metal band Manhole colliding with Grief. Infect
are from Brazil and are one of my current fave bands. Total fast old-school
thrash with sincere lyrics and a kick-ass approach. Worth your time!
Index S/t CD (Displacer Beast)

mixed in. Evil riffs, gut-wrenching screams and disharmonies galore!
Kalashnikow Boys "Robot from a robot factory" CD (PDB)
- Self-released debut album from this new, cool Swedish hardcore band.
Extremely well-played, technical metallic hardcore (but NOT chugga-chugga
style) w/a heavy, fat production. Weird changes, disharmonic mayhem, screaming
vocals. Not for people who want easily digested music. Reminds me somewhat
of later day Refused. Cool!

Lightning Bolt "Wonderful rainbow" CD (Load)
- Noise noise nois from Providence, RI, USA. LB is a two-piece that boasts
a 3800-watt bass amp competing for volume with hammer-of-the-gods drum-strikes.
Hear their sub-atomic amps creating a sonic shit-storm that causes dance-floor
mayhem with its metallic overdrive!
Lobotomia S/t CD (Speedstate)
- Another classic brazilian hardcore album re-issued by Japanese Speedstate.
Originally released in 1986. Ahead of their era musically and lyrically
speaking, Lobotomia forestalled the whole conception of the metallic crustcore
style that crossed the late 80's until now. Dark, heavy and furious, this
is their best material so far, out of print since the old. Follows the
same Speedstate rules: official reissue, lyrics/translations, original
artwork etc. Brutal shit.
Legion 666 "Kiss the goat" CD (Schizophrenic)

Antisect-meets- Bathory crustcore from Hades. Seriously now, I love this
piece of plastic. From Japan, of course.
State Of Fear "Discography 1994-1996" CD (Fired Up)
- Highly influential US crust punx. Fukking state of the art fast hardcore,
can't get enough of this shit. All the classics, get this!
Striving Higher "
at caelum certe patet" MCD (Decline)
- Hard-hitting US influenced old-school from Holland. Perfect for stage
dives and furious mosh pits. Think Outlast, GB, Mainstrike etc.
Selfish "Cry for love, cry for death" CD (Deadalive)
- Finland's Selfish have been playing out, in one form or another, since
the early 90's. Over the years their sound has changed from raw, d-beat
crust akin to Doom and Extreme Noise Terror, to skilled and intricate,
Burning Spirits styled hardcore, heavily influenced by Death Side and
so many other Japanese bands. This full length compiles previously released,
but currently out of print, tracks from two 7"s, a split 7",
and various compilations. 12 tracks total, all re-mastered, with new,
typically over-the-top, artwork from the highly talented Japanese artist,
Sugi, and liner notes by founding member, Otto Itokonen, detailing the
band history from its beginnings to present times.
Stalag 13 "In control" CD (Dr. Strange)
- Super classic early 80's USHC! Originally released back in 1984, here's
finally an official re-issue + bonus tracks. Highly recommended.
Seven Days Of Samsara "Never stop attacking" CD (Floweviolence)
- Discography styled release from this fearsome US group. Watch out for
aggressive and emotional metal hardcore that is similar to bands like
Dragbody etc. The CD contains a 7", 2 x split7"s + a splitLP.
Stack "Konkret
Lichtgeschwindigkeit" CD (Flowerviolence/Scorched Earth/Six Weeks)
- One of Europe's best pv/fastcore/hardcore acts. This CD has the 10"
w/the same name + 7" + 4 x split7"s + comp tracks + 6"
= a grand fukking total of 44 tracks of crushing fastcore!
If you have yet to discover the sheer killing capacity of Stack, this
is a good value for money start.
Skitsystem "Allt e skit" CD (Earwax)
- If you still don't know this band, you don't know Swedish hardcore...
This is a US-only re-issue (not a boot!) of their out-of-print shit: 1st
7" from '95, 10" from '96 + split7" w/Wolfpack from '97.
Essential! This is only made in 1 000 copies and it's not really distributed
in Europe, so get 'em while you can. See below for more Skitsystem.
Striking Distance "The bleeding starts here" CD (Reflections)
- Washington hardcore is back! Great agressive hardcore, contains 17 songs
from the early years of Striking Distance, including their hard to get
debut 7" (on Vicious Circle), LP demosongs and 2 coversongs (Minor
Threat, Void). The music is tight, rabid, angry and in your face. Striking
Distance is putting real DC hardcore back on the map and making it a threat
again. Artwork by Linas 'The Monster' Garsys. Comes in slipcase packaging.
Sick Of It All "Live in a world full of hate" CD (LF)
- The best live hardcore band in the world captured live, no holds barred!

of sheer terror madness. For fans of Fuck On The Beach, Infest, Crossed
Out etc.
Sons Of Cyrus s/t CD/LP (BBC)
- Move over Hellacopters, the new rulers of the Swedish r'n'r scene have
arrived. Stockholm's SOC are hook-filled, riff-mad rock'n'roll done the
old-school Stooges way. One of the best albums of 2002. The songs "I
wanna be a homo" is an instant classic!
Spazm 151 S/t CD (Busted Heads)
- Our first album release on BHR! This is a CD version of the mindblowing
LP released by Mind Control in 2001 (one of that years top 10 releases)
. Fast, beefy and incredibly catchy hardcorepunk made in Texas, USA. Think
Poison Idea, Offenders and Jerry's Kids updated for for the new millenium.
These Texas motherfukkers are a raging live act and their records aren't
far behind. We are so glad that we get to do this. If you don't like this,
you are NOT hardcore enough! Mixed by Mieszko of Nasum at his own Soundlab
studio in Örebro, Sweden.
Selfish "Burning Sensation" CD (HG Fact)
- The Finnish wannabes strike back w/10 tracks of Japanese styled burning
spirit hardcore. You like Death Side? These guys sure as hell do...
Spazz "La Revancha" CD (Sound Pollution)
- Intense and mosh friendly spazztic hardcore that got the whole power
violence thing going in the ol' 90's. Classic!
Strong Intention "Extermination Vision" CD (Coalition)
- Latest release and 2nd album from these Maryland warriors. Almost ten
years down the line and they still thrash like fukkheads. 14 tracks of
heavy, sickening, punishing hardcore. Think Siege, Crossed Out, Infest,
Dropdead etc etc. Killer.
Step Forward "It Did Make A Difference" CD (Depserate
Fight)
- This sends chills down my spine. The band that pretty much started Umeå
Hardcore back in the day. D.S.-13 has even covered their monumental hit
"Does It Make A Difference?". SF were around between 1989 and
91 and only did 2 demos. This has both the tapes + 2 live sets (good sound!)
and a rehersal recording = 39 songs! Fast old-school like 7 Seconds, Minor
Threat etc etc. TOTALLY CRUCIAL! In 91 they changed their name to Refused
and we all know what happened after that... The SF drummer is playing
in ETA these days. A Must have!
Seein' Red "1993-1995" CD (Coalition)
- I don't think I need to introduce these veterans. 22 tracks of raw,
un-polished euro hardcore that will kill ya'll. This is their Discography
part 1.
Sissy Spacek s/t CD (Helicopter/Nu Form)
- Holy shit... what to say about this? 78 tracks of pure noise, NOT music.
If you think stuff like Bastard Noise is too soft I think you will fall
in love w/this record. Also see the 7"s for more of Sissy...
Skitsystem "Enkel Resa Till Rännstenen" LP/CD (Havoc/No
Tolerance)
- YES! The mighty Swedish war machine Skitsystem has finally released
a new album! 12 fresh and furnace hot blasts of prime heavy-as-fukk d-beat
Swecore. Fast and fukked up and all songs are in Swedish... One of this
country's best bands. Like being raped in the ass by a cop with a big
nightstick, it's that brutal. For all you who think the new D.S.-13 album
doesn't have enough distortion... Marble vinyl. Price: LP = 120 kr / 14
USD incl. postage, CD = ordinary price.
Shank "Coded Messages In Slowed Down Songs" CD (Deep
Six/625)
- The title may be stolen from the mighty GB, but this is pretty fukking
far from positive youth crew hardcore. Scotlands answer to Crossed Out?
Maybe, maybe so... 21 tracks of brutal, distorted, chaotic grindcore/power
violence/fastcore/hardcore/whatever.
Switchblade"Discography" CD (Flowerviolence)
- Old friends of D.S.-13, they've been going for about the same length
of time as us and we our first DIY-releases at the same time too. Great
guys who do intense fukked-up sonic headblast music. They sound retarded
and I mean that in a good way. This has all their early vinyl shit on
one CD, most of them are out of print: 1st 7", 10" (see below)
+ split7"s w/The Jam Session, Cult Of Luna and Last Match. Total
of 27 tracks. Screaming, distorted, 2 x bassplayers, caffeine charged
euro violence. Go for it!
Switchblade s/t CD (Trust No One)
- Their latest release (Trust No One #17). They have given up the speedy,
power violence chaos in favour of a heavier, darker, epic suicide approach.
40 minutes of darkness and hellish nightmare headfukking. LP is on clear
vinyl.
Sawn Off S/t CD (Flat Earth)
- Legendary UK speed freaks. A bit of Napalm Death styled grind, some
crusty hardcore the Dropdead way, a pinch of Infest, a wee bit of classic
UK hardcore = one fukking huge racket! Intense! Feat. one of the best
versions of "Breaking The Law" I've ever heard. And I am a huge
priest fan! Turned into Boxed In.
Testors "1976-1979" CD (Incognito)
- A collection of New York City punk recordings made by this obscure but
awesome group. 28 tracks of old-school punkrock mayhem, akin to Dead Boys,
Stooges etc. It doesn't get more kavajpunk than this. Price:
120 SEK / 17U$D incl. postage.
Tomorrow "Nuovo punto di partenza" CD (Answer)
- Fast old-school ripper from Japan, the land of the awesome hardcore.

of their records. Yes, of course it includes a Discharge cover!

30 song collection of their best old shit. Check it out. Price: 120
SEK / 15 U$D incl. postage.
Tear It Up "Nothing To Nothing" LP/CD (Deadalive)
- YEEEEAAAAH! The new album from New Jersey's TIU. One of the hottest
hardcore bands in the world right now, fast and fukking furious old-school
thrash mayhem w/a groovy rock edge. Live fast, die punk!!! If you liked

w/ETA, you'll pogo like fukking insane!!! This is one of the best albums
of 2002.
Thug Murder "13 Round" CD (Straight Up)

boots and pogo to their bouncy and fast '77 styled street punk!
Tear It Up "The december 2000 session" CD (Coalition)
- New Jersey hardcore at it's best. From the ashes of Dead Nation came
Tear It Up. The band was formed in 2000 and the members set out to set
audiences on fire with their fast energetic hardcore. This resulted in
several excellent records as well as a long long list of amazing shows
across the USA (and Europe in the spring of 2002). This CD compiles their
split LP with E.T.A. (on dead x alive), the songs from their ultra rare
one sided 7" on Uncle Slam Records (300 copies made) and their split
7" with Fast Times.

- Ex-Last Match, Ashram and 8 Days Of Nothing makes this one of the most
interesting Swedish bands right now. All killers, no fillers! Screaming
and disharmonised hardcorepunk not unlike the Dischord catalog meets Articles
Of Faith. Very very very fine shit.
Uniform Choice "The complete discography" CD (LF)
- Legendary US west coast edgers from the 80's! They did one classic LP
+ one shitty LP. You get both here, but "Straight and alert"

Vibrations "Love, resistance" MCD (Broze Fist)

If you haven'ty heard these guys, you are missing out. Brazilian released.
Victims "Neverendinglasting" CD (SEP)
- One of Pushead's favourite hardcore albums of recent years! What Otto
of E.T.A would call blazing traditional Swedish hardcore. I just call
it käng. Either way it's 23 tracks of d-beat insanity going right
for your throat. A must for fans of that unique Swecore stylee. One of
Sweden's best current bands. Look out for split w/From Ashes Rise on Havoc,
out soon.
